Local Area Rentals Are Scarse

In December of 2009 I counted over 170 home foreclosures that were listed on the Teller County Public Trustee's website.  Dozens of these folks had to find local rentals in which to live after their homes went back to the bank.  We would normally have 40 to 50 vacant single family homes available for rent at this time of year, but we currently have only 21.  And some of these are really not in very good shape.

This has caused my vacancy rate to drop to only a couple of days.  The available rentals I advertise are usually occupied before the advertising even comes out.  This has also caused prices to go up - because so few are available.

So there is no reason for owners who are having a hard time selling a vacant home and paying 2 mortgages to drain their savings waiting for a sale.  We can rent out your home very quickly to quality families.
