As Realtors - we are always asked this question. There is no single answer that can apply to everyone.  Some people are really asking about prices - Sellers want them high and buyers want them low.  Some people want to hear that it's best to sell in the Spring, and that's when their home will sell the fastest. It's true - there are a lot of home shoppers in the Spring.  How many of the shoppers are buyers?  There is also much more competition from other sellers in the Spring.   I am becoming convinced that there is no "best" time.
